All four grand jury charges for flagrant non support... 

The Lawrence County Grand Jury met on March 10th of 2016. While only having four total indictments, the message was firm and clear.

Indictment are as follows according to the court records:

Barrett Branham, 32 of Louisa, Ky. was indicted on Flagrant Non-Support. According to the indictment on or before February 2010 through February 29th 2016 in Lawrence County, Kentucky, the above-named defendant committed the offense of flagrant non-support when he failed to pay child support to Holly Branham as court-ordered with a total amount exceeding $15,450.95. According to the indictment, flagrant non-support is a Class D Felony and carries a penalty of 1 to 5 years and/ or fine not more than $10,000. His bail has been set at 5000.00.

Bobby L. Dale, 28 of Hagerhill, Kentucky was indicted on Flagrant Non-Support and Persistent Felony Offender in the (2ND) degree.(enhancement) The grand jury charges that on or before July 2008 through February 29th 2016 in Lawrence County, Kentucky the above-named defendant committed the offense of Flagrant Non-Support when he failed to pay child support to Amanda N. Collins as court-ordered with a total amount exceeding $21,948.96. The defendant having also been charged in the indictment with the above-stated felony count is now being charged as a Persistent Felony Offender in the (2nd degree) for the reason that the defendant now more than 21 years of age was previously convicted of a prior felony when he was at least 18 years of age. According to the indictment flagrant non-support is a Class D Felony and carries a penalty from 1 to 5 years and or fined not more than $10,000 with his Persistent Felony Offender in the (2ND) degree enhancement. Bail has been set at $10,000.

Bobby Wellman, 33 of Louisa, KY was indicted on Flagrant Non-Support and Persistent Felony Offender in the (2ND) degree. (enhancement) the grand jury charges that on or before April 2009 and up to the present February 29th 2016 in Lawrence County Kentucky the above-named defendant committed the offense of flagrant non-support when he failed to pay child support to Veronica Wellman as court-ordered with the total amount exceeding $7,325.22 the defendant having been charged in the incident indictment with the above-stated felony is now being charged as a persistent felony offender in the second degree for the reason that the defendant now more than 21 years of age was previously convicted of a prior felony when he was at least 18 years of age. Flagrant non-support is a Class D Felony with a penalty of 1 to 5 years and or fine not more than $10,000. Persistent Felony Offender in the (2ND) enhancement. Bail has been set at $10,000.

Randall Carley, 45 of Ft. Gay, WV. was indicted on Flagrant Non-Support. According to the indictment the grand jury charges that on or before February 2010 through February 29th 2016 Lawrence County Kentucky, Randall Carley committed the offense of Flagrant Non-Support when he failed to pay child support to Carrie Ann Carley as court-ordered with a total amount exceeding $7,084. Flagrant non-support is a Class D Felony with a penalty of 1 to 5 years and or fine not more than $10,000. Bail has been set at $5,000.
